IBEC hosting CASEIB2014 this week

CASEIB 2014 is a forum for scientists, industry professionals and biomedical and clinical engineers interested in learning about and discussing the research, education, and clinical and industrial applications in the field of biomedical engineering.

Keynote speakers will be Antoni Bayés Genís (Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol) and Thomas Penzel (Charité University, Berlin), and as well as the talks there will be round tables devoted to “Grados en Ingeniería Biomédica: Experiencia de las primeras promociones y su continuación a los estudios de Máster” and “El rol de la innovación tecnológica en los nuevos retos de la salud”. Parallel sessions on each day of the event will cover areas such as biomedical signals, modelling and simulation, telemedicine, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and medical imaging. The event will also include a Student Competition Session, culminating in the awarding of the J. Mª Ferrero Corral prize for the three best papers presented by students.
