On Wednesday a group of 30 delegates from the 23rd World Smart Systems & Micromachine Summit (MMS 2017) paid a visit to IBEC to find out more about the institute’s activities.
MMS 2017, which has been taking place in Barcelona since Monday, has the special topic of “Micro and Nano systems for Smart Cities applications” this year. It attracts 80 representatives from more than 25 countries annually, and was first organized in 1995 by the Micromachine Center in Japan.
The Summit’s ‘Technical Tour’ today includes Hewlett Packard World R&D Center for 3D Printing and the 22@ Innovation District as well as the PCB and IBEC. As well as Josep’s presentation, the delegates – who came from all over the world – were also treated to some tours of the labs at IBEC.
