Es tracta de dispositius electr\u00f2nics capa\u00e7os de transformar inputs biol\u00f2gics i bioqu\u00edmics en senyals el\u00e8ctrics amplificats i de funcionar de manera estable en entorns aquosos. A m\u00e9s, estan formats per materials semiconductors org\u00e0nics, convertint-los en una tecnologia m\u00e9s biocompatible, flexible i econ\u00f2mica que els transistors de silici convencionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanmateix, els materials semiconductors org\u00e0nics estan formats per diferents cristalls, amb una estructura que presenta imperfeccions que afecten el funcionament del transistor. Poder comptar amb t\u00e8cniques d&#8217;an\u00e0lisi a la nanoescala que permetin estudiar en detall l&#8217;impacte d&#8217;aquestes imperfeccions en el funcionament del transistor \u00e9s decisiu a l&#8217;hora de fabricar dispositius m\u00e9s eficients i fiables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>La gran novetat d&#8217;aquest treball \u00e9s aconseguir realitzar els mapes de potencial mentre el material es troba en contacte amb un medi aquos sense que es produeixin curtcircuits.<\/p>\n<cite>Shubham Tanwar<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Ara, un estudi liderat pel grup de <a href=\"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/nanobioelec\">Caracteritzaci\u00f3 Bioel\u00e8ctrica a la nanoescala<\/a> de l\u2019IBEC ha desenvolupat amb \u00e8xit una metodologia capa\u00e7 de realitzar un mapa del potencial el\u00e8ctric local al llarg de l\u2019estructura dels transistors EGOFET mentre es troben en funcionament. Aquesta iniciativa permet una avaluaci\u00f3 detallada dels punts de congesti\u00f3, coneguts com a colls d\u2019ampolla, en el transport de c\u00e0rrega. Els resultats obtinguts tenen la capacitat d&#8217;aprofundir en la comprensi\u00f3 de com l\u2019estructura del material afecta les seves propietats i funcionalitat, amb la finalitat de millorar el dispositiu i, en \u00faltima inst\u00e0ncia, optimitzar les seves aplicacions, com \u00e9s el cas dels biosensors o enregistraments bioel\u00e8ctrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;La gran novetat d&#8217;aquest treball \u00e9s aconseguir realitzar els mapes de potencial mentre el material es troba en contacte amb un medi aquos sense que es produeixin curtcircuits&#8221; comenta Shubham Tanwar estudiant recentment doctorat a l&#8217;IBEC i primer autor del treball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA partir de les mesures realitzades, hem observat que, en aplicar un voltatge, la major part d&#8217;aquest, en lloc de moure els electrons, es desvia cap a les zones on dos cristalls diferents estan en contacte o b\u00e9 en els contactes el\u00e8ctrics&#8221; assanyala la Dra. Adrica Kyndiah del Italian Institute of Technology que ha co-liderat el treball. &#8220;Aquesta t\u00e8cnica ens permet obtenir informaci\u00f3 addicional sense realitzar c\u00e0lculs complicats, simplement manipulant les dades de manera intel\u00b7ligent. A partir d&#8217;aqu\u00ed, podem abordar diversos problemes relacionats amb els materials\u201d, explica Gabriel Gomila, catedr\u00e0tic de la Universitat de Barcelona, ICREA Acad\u00e8mia i investigador principal a l\u2019IBEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El nou enfocament, que ja est\u00e0 disponible per als professionals del camp, ha suscitat l&#8217;inter\u00e8s de grups internacionals, amb els quals l&#8217;equip del Dr. Gomila est\u00e0 establint col\u00b7laboracions per analitzar els seus propis dispositius. A m\u00e9s, s&#8217;est\u00e0 explorant la possibilitat d\u2019integrar la intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial per automatitzar encara m\u00e9s el procediment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;estudi ha comptat amb la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 de l\u2019Institut Itali\u00e0 de Tecnologia i el grup de recerca liderat per la Dra.
