Els enfocaments tradicionals, com l&#8217;\u00fas d&#8217;empelts, sovint causen complicacions a causa d&#8217;un subministrament vascular inadequat als implants, la qual cosa condueix a una integraci\u00f3 deficient i a la formaci\u00f3 de teixit necr\u00f2tic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Aquest innovador m\u00e8tode permet crear bastides personalitzables que imiten l&#8217;estructura de l&#8217;os natural, essencial per a potenciar la infiltraci\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular i l&#8217;intercanvi de nutrients durant el proc\u00e9s de cicatritzaci\u00f3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Celia Ximenes-Carballo<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Per a fer front a aquest problema, investigadors de l&#8217;IBEC liderats per \u00d3scar Casta\u00f1o, investigador principal del <a href=\"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/biomaterials\">grup de Biomaterials per a Ter\u00e0pies Regeneratives<\/a>, van desenvolupar un enfocament nou, publicat recentment en la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S2772950824002280?via%3Dihub\">revista Biomaterials Advances<\/a>. Van aplicar la t\u00e8cnica de bioimpressi\u00f3 3D per a construir bastides d&#8217;estructura v\u00edtria a base d&#8217;\u00e0cid polil\u00e0ctic i fosfat de calci, que afavoreixen l&#8217;angiog\u00e8nesi i la maduraci\u00f3 dels vasos sanguinis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;os es compon tant d&#8217;una part org\u00e0nica no mineralitzada (principalment col\u00b7lagen) com d&#8217;una part inorg\u00e0nica mineralitzada (principalment hidroxiapatita). En aquesta estructura, la porositat 3D \u00e9s necess\u00e0ria per a assegurar el transport de nutrients i oxigen, aix\u00ed com per a permetre la vascularitzaci\u00f3, la infiltraci\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular i l&#8217;eliminaci\u00f3 de residus. L&#8217;enfocament dels investigadors es va basar en l&#8217;\u00fas de bastides d&#8217;estructura v\u00edtria a base de fosfat de calci (CaP) per a millorar les propietats de l&#8217;\u00e0cid polil\u00e0ctic (PLA) i obtenir un material que compleixi amb les necessitats qu\u00edmiques, mec\u00e0niques i biol\u00f2giques del teixit ossi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les noves bastides de PLA-CaP permeten una adequada vascularitzaci\u00f3, que no nom\u00e9s cicatritza el teixit, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 permet una regeneraci\u00f3 eficient, la qual cosa es tradueix en la reducci\u00f3 o eliminaci\u00f3 de danys en l&#8217;os. A m\u00e9s, les bastides van mantenir l&#8217;alliberament d&#8217;ions de calci a nivells fisiol\u00f2gics, un altre element vital per a estimular la vascularitzaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D&#8217;altra banda, les proves subcut\u00e0nies <em>in vivo<\/em> en un model de ratol\u00ed tamb\u00e9 van mostrar resultats prometedors. Tan sols una setmana despr\u00e9s de la implantaci\u00f3, les bastides van mostrar una bona integraci\u00f3 i una notable infiltraci\u00f3 de vasos sanguinis. Les bastides de PLA-CaP van ser particularment efectives, mostrant una major maduraci\u00f3 dels vasos despr\u00e9s de quatre setmanes sense signes de regressi\u00f3 vascular. L&#8217;an\u00e0lisi dels vasos sanguinis va revelar que les seves parets eren inicialment fines, per\u00f2 es van tornar m\u00e9s s\u00f2lides i estables amb el temps. Aquesta progressi\u00f3 indica que les bastides no nom\u00e9s ofereixen un suport inicial per al creixement dels vasos sanguinis, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 fomenten un entorn propici per a una vascularitzaci\u00f3 persistent, essencial per a la regeneraci\u00f3 \u00f2ssia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>Creiem que les nostres bastides impreses en 3D podrien revolucionar la forma en qu\u00e8 abordem la regeneraci\u00f3 \u00f2ssia.
