L&#8217;estudi, publicat a la revista <em>Nature Communications,<\/em> ofereix una alternativa prometedora a les limitacions dels tractaments disponibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Hem demostrat que el nostre enfocament \u00e9s m\u00e9s efica\u00e7 que el tractament convencional amb BCG en ratolins, la qual cosa suposa un gran avan\u00e7 en la immunoter\u00e0pia per a aquest tipus de c\u00e0ncer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samuel S\u00e1nchez<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Avui dia el tractament convencional per al c\u00e0ncer de bufeta no invasiu \u00e9s la immunoter\u00e0pia amb BCG (<em>Bacillus Calmette-Gu\u00e9rin<\/em>), un bacteri atenuat que s&#8217;introdueix a la bufeta per estimular la resposta immune contra les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules tumorals. Tanmateix, aquest tractament presenta limitacions importants, com la necessitat de m\u00faltiples administracions, efectes secundaris greus i una efic\u00e0cia redu\u00efda en certs pacients. Davant d&#8217;aquests inconvenients, la nova ter\u00e0pia basada en nanomotors ofereix una alternativa m\u00e9s efica\u00e7, activant de forma m\u00e9s eficient el sistema immunitari i reduint significativament el creixement tumoral en models precl\u00ednics en ratol\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquests nanomotors s\u00f3n nanopart\u00edcules autopropulsades que utilitzen l&#8217;enzim ureasa per reaccionar amb la urea present a l&#8217;orina.
