Tot i que fa temps que es compr\u00e8n com responen les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules als senyals qu\u00edmics, se sabia molt menys sobre com processen els senyals mec\u00e0nics al llarg del temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Comprendre com les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules interpreten com aquests complexos senyals mec\u00e0nics estan influint en la progressi\u00f3 de la malaltia podria capacitar els investigadors per dissenyar millors ter\u00e0pies en el futur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amy Beedle<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Ara, els investigadors creuen que les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules utilitzen una esp\u00e8cie de &#8216;filtre passabaix&#8217; per descartar alteracions a curt termini, per\u00f2 responen a canvis persistents i a llarg termini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El professor <strong>Pere Roca-Cusachs<\/strong>, l\u00edder de l&#8217;estudi, investigador principal del <a href=\"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/cellmolmech\/\">grup de Mecanobiologia cel\u00b7lular i molecular<\/a> de l&#8217;IBEC i catedr\u00e0tic a la Facultat de Medicina i Ci\u00e8ncies de la Salut de la Universitat de Barcelona (UB), explica:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Imagina que condueixes per una autopista i sents un soroll fort al teu costat. Probablement reaccionar\u00e0s immediatament perqu\u00e8 podria ser perill\u00f3s. Per\u00f2 si sents un so petit i inusual del teu propi motor, pot ser que l&#8217;ignoris, llevat que persisteixi durant un temps. Les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules s&#8217;enfronten a un desafiament similar: han de decidir quins senyals importen i quan respondre-hi.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;equip va descobrir que les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules depenen d&#8217;estructures anomenades adhesions fibril\u00b7lars, punts de contacte especialitzats que permeten a les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules agarrar-se f\u00edsicament al seu entorn i transmetre forces mec\u00e0niques al seu interior, per a aquest mecanisme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquestes estructures ajuden a &#8216;retenir&#8217; el nucli cel\u00b7lular en un estat deformat, fins i tot despr\u00e9s que la for\u00e7a desaparegui, cosa que permet que el senyal persisteixi durant aproximadament una hora, mantinguda per una xarxa de fibres anomenada vimentina per mantenir l&#8217;efecte al llarg del temps. Quan aquest sistema s&#8217;interromp, les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules perden la capacitat de &#8220;retenir&#8221; senyals mec\u00e0nics i responen molt m\u00e9s r\u00e0pid, per\u00f2 de forma menys selectiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En efecte, aix\u00f2 crea un filtre biol\u00f2gic. S&#8217;ignoren forces breus, per\u00f2 les sostingudes desencadenen una resposta.
