
{"id":25348,"date":"2016-10-27T15:03:42","date_gmt":"2016-10-27T13:03:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/?p=25348"},"modified":"2016-10-27T15:27:00","modified_gmt":"2016-10-27T13:27:00","slug":"molecules-que-sactiven-amb-llum-per-controlar-lactivitat-dels-receptors-de-glutamat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/ca\/molecules-que-sactiven-amb-llum-per-controlar-lactivitat-dels-receptors-de-glutamat\/","title":{"rendered":"Mol\u00e8cules que s&#8217;activen amb llum per controlar l&#8217;activitat dels receptors de glutamat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aquest acoblament fa que el receptor s&#8217;activi o no, el que desencadena al seu torn l&#8217;activitat<\/p>\n<p>Un treball publicat recentment a la revista Cell Chemical Biology i liderat per Pau Gorostiza, cient\u00edfic ICREA a l&#8217;Institut de Bioenginyeria de Catalunya (IBEC), Amadeu Llebaria, de l&#8217;Institut de Qu\u00edmica Avan\u00e7ada del CSIC a Catalunya (IQAC), i Cyril Goudet, de l&#8217;Institut de Gen\u00f2mica Funcional del CNRS de Fran\u00e7a, ha presentat unes noves mol\u00e8cules d&#8217;aquest tipus.<\/p>\n<p>En aquest cas, els cient\u00edfics han aconseguit una mol\u00e8cula que canvia de forma en rebre llum violeta i que s&#8217;acobla al receptor de glutamat, el que fa que aquest \u00faltim disminueixi o augmenti la seva activitat. L&#8217;\u00fas controlat de la llum permetria un \u00fas localitzat i prec\u00eds d&#8217;aquesta mol\u00e8cula.<\/p>\n<p>Els receptors de glutamat estan implicats en les transmissions sin\u00e0ptiques del sistema nervi\u00f3s central. Estan implicats en multitud de processos, com la percepci\u00f3 del dolor, la mem\u00f2ria, o la regulaci\u00f3 motora. Igualment, l&#8217;alteraci\u00f3 de la seva activitat s&#8217;associa a diferents malalties, de manera que constitueixen punts d&#8217;acci\u00f3 interessants per al desenvolupament de f\u00e0rmacs.<\/p>\n<p>En un comentari publicat sobre l&#8217;article en la mateixa revista, Ferdinando Nicoletti, un expert mundial en receptors de glutamat, destaca la import\u00e0ncia i novetat de la investigaci\u00f3. A m\u00e9s, destaca el potencial dels compostos fotoactivables en la investigaci\u00f3 de f\u00e0rmacs per a malalties com el Parkinson i la seva possible aplicaci\u00f3 en tractaments localitzats en dolor.<\/p>\n<p>Es podria plantejar el seu \u00fas per a estudis biol\u00f2gics del sistema nervi\u00f3s central, o per avaluar mol\u00e8cules en noves ter\u00e0pies. Igualment, explica Amadeu Llebaria, es pot pensar la seva aplicaci\u00f3 en f\u00e0rmacs que actu\u00efn de manera controlada en una zona determinada del cervell i activar-amb &#8216;microleds&#8217; implantables en el cos. El treball encara est\u00e0 en la fase del que anomenen prova de concepte, en la qual s&#8217;intenta demostrar si l&#8217;estrat\u00e8gia \u00e9s possible o no.<\/p>\n<p>Aquestes mol\u00e8cules podrien obrir la porta a un tractament personalitzat i millorat de malalties mitjan\u00e7ant un diagn\u00f2stic previ espec\u00edfic i un ajust personalitzat del f\u00e0rmac.
