S&#8217;observa com les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules es contreuen deixant un rastre de projeccions a la base del substrat.<\/h6>\n<p>&#8220;Vol\u00edem entendre aquest sistema de comunicaci\u00f3, que \u00e9s molt sofisticat, al m\u00e0xim detall possible. Encara que ja coneix\u00edem els agents implicats, fins ara no ten\u00edem les eines per desxifrar el llenguatge, \u00e9s a dir, el seu mecanisme de funcionament&#8221;, comenta Samuel Ojosnegros, primer autor de l&#8217;estudi. Per estudiar els missatges que s&#8217;envien les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules, en un esfor\u00e7 conjunt entre instituts de Barcelona i de Calif\u00f2rnia, els autors han desenvolupat una nova t\u00e8cnica de microsc\u00f2pia que permet observar els senyals de comunicaci\u00f3 en c\u00e8l\u00b7lules vives. Aquesta t\u00e8cnica \u00e9s capa\u00e7 de resoldre a nivell subp\u00edxel l&#8217;agregaci\u00f3 de prote\u00efnes, que es representa amb una escala de colors, i permet registrar seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies a temps real de com una c\u00e8l\u00b7lula respon a un determinat est\u00edmul a gran resoluci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Aquest sistema de comunicaci\u00f3 l&#8217;utilitzen les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules com una mena de GPS intern per arribar al seu dest\u00ed en els \u00f2rgans durant el desenvolupament embrionari, la regeneraci\u00f3 de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules mare i durant les met\u00e0stasis de tumors invasius.<\/p>\n<p>Una de les limitacions actuals de la medicina regenerativa \u00e9s la dificultat d&#8217;assegurar que les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules mare trasplantades a un pacient arribin i s&#8217;implantin al dest\u00ed desitjat. &#8220;Un cop descrit aquest mecanisme, hem fet el primer pas de cara a ser capa\u00e7os de manipular-lo per redirigir les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules mare de forma molt m\u00e9s eficient, ja que es tracta del sistema que elles utilitzen de manera natural&#8221;, apunta l&#8217;investigador del CMR[ B].<\/p>\n<p><strong>Condensaci\u00f3 versus polimeritzaci\u00f3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La comunicaci\u00f3 entre c\u00e8l\u00b7lules \u00e9s un proc\u00e9s molt prec\u00eds basat en l&#8217;exist\u00e8ncia de prote\u00efnes receptores de membrana que s\u00f3n capaces de captar senyals externs de l&#8217;entorn i traduir-les a nivell intern. En l&#8217;estudi, l&#8217;equip del CMR[B] s&#8217;ha centrat en els receptors de membrana Eph i el seu lligant efrina.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Gr\u00e0cies a les nostres t\u00e8cniques de microsc\u00f2pia, hem observat que el receptor Eph, en pres\u00e8ncia d\u2019efrina, comen\u00e7a a agregar-se formant grans estructures. Aquesta agregaci\u00f3 no \u00e9s homog\u00e8nia, sin\u00f3 que segueix dos patrons diferenciats, que hem anomenat polimeritzaci\u00f3 (uni\u00f3 de mon\u00f2mers) i condensaci\u00f3 (uni\u00f3 d\u2019olig\u00f2mers).
