Font: CMR[B] <\/h6>\n<p>&#8220;Ara comencem a entendre que la matriu extracel\u00b7lular juga un paper important en el comportament de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules mare i les seves aplicacions terap\u00e8utiques en medicina regenerativa&#8221; comenten els autors de l&#8217;estudi. &#8220;Els esdeveniments intracel\u00b7lulars regulats per gens i prote\u00efnes sempre s&#8217;havien considerat el principal objecte d&#8217;estudi fins ara; no obstant, ens falta una visi\u00f3 m\u00e9s \u00e0mplia que englobi a tots els protagonistes de la regeneraci\u00f3 del teixit card\u00edac&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>48 hores per regenerar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fins ara, la capacitat de regeneraci\u00f3 de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules del cor, els cardiomi\u00f2cits, s&#8217;havia associat a la seva capacitat de proliferar. Estudis anteriors permetien teoritzar que els ratolins nounats podrien ser capa\u00e7os de regenerar el seu cor despr\u00e9s d&#8217;una ferida fins a set dies despr\u00e9s de n\u00e9ixer, per\u00edode durant el qual les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules card\u00edaques encara estan en fase de desenvolupament.<br \/>\nPer primera vegada, els investigadors del CMR[B] han avaluat experimentalment la capacitat de regeneraci\u00f3 del ratol\u00ed davant d&#8217;una amputaci\u00f3 de teixit card\u00edac des de les 24 hores fins als nou dies despr\u00e9s del naixement. &#8220;Si la capacitat regenerativa del cor neonatal depengu\u00e9s de la capacitat de proliferaci\u00f3 de les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules card\u00edaques, haur\u00edem vist regeneraci\u00f3 diversos dies despr\u00e9s del naixement, com s&#8217;havia teoritzat, per\u00f2 no \u00e9s aix\u00ed&#8221;, explica el Dr. Mario Notari, primer autor de l&#8217;article. &#8220;En canvi, hem acotat experimentalment aquesta finestra de regeneraci\u00f3 a dos dies, demostrant que passades 48 hores el cor perd la capacitat de regenerar-se, encara que segueixi en desenvolupament. Aix\u00ed doncs, hem desvinculat els fen\u00f2mens de regeneraci\u00f3 i proliferaci\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular dels cardiomi\u00f2cits en ratolins nounats&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La rigidesa de l&#8217;entorn, factor limitant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e0cies a la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb el grup de recerca IBEC-UB del Dr. Daniel Navajas, tamb\u00e9 vinculat al Centre d&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 Biom\u00e8dica en Xarxa (CIBER), els investigadors van realitzar l&#8217;an\u00e0lisi transcript\u00f2mica i mec\u00e0nica del cor a les 24 i 48 hores de n\u00e9ixer. La principal difer\u00e8ncia observada va ser un increment significatiu de la rigidesa de matriu extracel\u00b7lular, que envolta als cardiomi\u00f2cits, als dos dies de n\u00e9ixer.<\/p>\n<p>Despr\u00e9s de disminuir aquesta rigidesa farmacol\u00f2gicament, l&#8217;equip d&#8217;investigaci\u00f3 va aconseguir ampliar la capacitat de regeneraci\u00f3 del cor fins a tres dies despr\u00e9s del naixement. &#8220;Els nostres resultats suggereixen que la composici\u00f3 i rigidesa de la matriu extracel\u00b7lular s\u00f3n un mecanisme limitant en relaci\u00f3 a la capacitat regenerativa del cor en mam\u00edfers, per la qual cosa resulta molt interessant el seu estudi&#8221;, apunta Notari.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un nou enfocament per al tractament de malalties cardiovasculars<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Con\u00e8ixer la finestra temporal de regeneraci\u00f3 del cor en nounats de manera tan espec\u00edfica facilitar\u00e0 el desenvolupament de nous estudis que permetin analitzar en profunditat els mecanismes responsables&#8221;, afegeix el Dr. \u00c1ngel Raya, director del CMR[B] i \u00faltim autor del treball. &#8220;En qualsevol cas, aquestes troballes obren una porta esperan\u00e7adora de cara al desenvolupament de noves ter\u00e0pies per a malalties cardiovasculars basades en medicina regenerativa&#8221;.
