{"id":63413,"date":"2018-11-16T14:46:41","date_gmt":"2018-11-16T13:46:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/?p=63413"},"modified":"2019-02-08T12:25:57","modified_gmt":"2019-02-08T11:25:57","slug":"63413","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/ca\/63413\/","title":{"rendered":"Postdoctoral Position in Targeted Nanotherapeutics Research Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Download PDF post\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Targeted-therapeutics-and-nanodevices-Postdoc-Position-111518.pdf\">Targeted therapeutics and nanodevices Postdoc Position-111518<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities \/ The successful candidate will develop research involving:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 To actively assist and conduct research pertaining to the topic described above, i.e. fabricate polymeric nanocarriers, load them with (protein) therapeutics, target them to BBB receptors involved in transcytosis, and characterize the properties and performance of these systems in vitro, cell culture, and small animal models.<br \/>\n\u2022 Engage in collaborations, recording and reporting, as well as planning, writing and presenting publications and other scientific communications derived from the work.<br \/>\n\u2022 Participate in lab meetings and regular laboratory- or institutional-based activities, and contribute to common lab supporting tasks, e.g. ordering of reagents, equipment maintenance, training of new members, and general GL support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedicine, or related field. BSc, MSc, and PhD combination including solid knowledge in polymers, nanocolloids, PK\/PD, and cell biology is a major asset.<br \/>\n\u2022 Previous experience in polymeric nanoparticles, targeting, protein therapeutics, cell cultures, BBB models, confocal microscopy, and\/or animal PK\/PD studies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in managing orders, equipment and training lab personnel is preferred.<br \/>\n\u2022 Competencies and skills: Proactivity, Independence, Communication, Teamwork, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fluent in English<\/p>\n<p><strong>We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Number of available positions: 1<br \/>\n\u2022 Starting date: <strong>16\/01\/2019<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Working conditions:<br \/>\no Full time <strong>1-year contract with possibility to renewal<\/strong>.
