N\u00faria Montserrat, investigadora principal d&#8217;ICREA a l&#8217;IBEC, i en el que tamb\u00e9 han col\u00b7laborat l&#8217;Hospital Cl\u00ednic de Barcelona, el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas, la Universitat de Barcelona i el Salk Institute for Biological Studies als EE.UU, permet generar coneixement fonamental sobre com es desenvolupa aquest \u00f2rgan, i a la vegada, facilita el disseny d&#8217;experiments focalitzats en el cribratge de compostos terap\u00e8utics destinats a la regeneraci\u00f3 renal.<\/p>\n<p>Per a dur a terme aquest proc\u00e9s, els investigadors han utilitzat c\u00e8l\u00b7lules mare pluripotents, amb les que han aconseguit recapitular el desenvolupament embrionari del rony\u00f3 \u2013 fins al segon trimestre de gestaci\u00f3-, i han generat els mini ronyons simulant la duresa del micro ambient embrionari mitjan\u00e7ant l&#8217;\u00fas de biomaterials.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65624\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65624\" style=\"width: 390px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-65624 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/minirrin\u0303o\u0301n-ibec.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/minirrin\u0303o\u0301n-ibec.png 470w, https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/minirrin\u0303o\u0301n-ibec-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/minirrin\u0303o\u0301n-ibec-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/minirrin\u0303o\u0301n-ibec-130x130.png 130w, https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/minirrin\u0303o\u0301n-ibec-45x45.png 45w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 400px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 400\/400;\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65624\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mini-rony\u00f3 derivat a partir de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules mare pluripotents humanes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;Un dels aspectes crucials de la investigaci\u00f3 amb organoides consisteix en desenvolupar una metodologia que permeti la seva maduraci\u00f3 en una placa de cultiu, i que aquests s&#8217;assemblin a l&#8217;\u00f2rgan adult, per a aix\u00f2, \u00e9s essencial proveir a aquests mini \u00f2rgans, entre altres coses, d&#8217;una xarxa vascular, essencial per a facilitar l&#8217;intercanvi de nutrients i assegurar la seva funcionalitat&#8221;, comenta N\u00faria Montserrat.<\/p>\n<p>Per a superar aquest obstacle, els investigadors han implantat els mini ronyons a la vasculatura embrion\u00e0ria del pollastre i han observat que, al cap de pocs dies, els mini ronyons presentaven c\u00e8l\u00b7lules endotelials i evid\u00e8ncies estructurals que indicaven una millor diferenciaci\u00f3 dins d&#8217;aquestes estructures tridimensionals.<\/p>\n<p>Aquest tipus d&#8217;abordatge representa una estrat\u00e8gia prometedora per al desenvolupament de teixits bio funcionals, que puguin ser utilitzats tant per a la detecci\u00f3 de drogues com per al desenvolupament de medicina personalitzada. &#8220;Anticipem que aquest procediment que presentem pot ser aplicat immediatament als laboratoris que treballin en el modelatge de malalties de rony\u00f3&#8221;, comenta N\u00faria Montserrat. &#8220;Necessitem entendre com es generen els teixits per poder abordar q\u00fcestions relacionades amb la seva disfunci\u00f3&#8221;, afegeix el Dr. Josep M.
