Main tasks and responsibilities \/ The successful candidate will develop research involving:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Protein purification skills
\n– Bacterial genetics: obtention of knockout mutants, FLAG-tagging of genes, lac gene fusions
\n– Nucleic acids isolation<\/p>\n

Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Degree in Biology
\n\u2022 Knowledge on Dielectrophoretic equipment, Thermocycler (PCR), protein and DNA electrophoresis, process of biomolecule production.
\n\u2022 Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking
\n\u2022 Medium level of English<\/p>\n

\no Part time: 25h week. Temporary contract.

The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, IBEC is an interdisciplinary research center focused on Bioengineering and Nanomedicine based in Barcelona.
