Alguns dels \u00e8xits m\u00e9s destacats de la seva il\u00b7lustre carrera, que \u00faltimament s’ha centrat en la investigaci\u00f3 i el desenvolupament de ciments ossis, inclouen la creaci\u00f3 de biomaterials basats en materials compostos porosos de fosfat de calci per a la regeneraci\u00f3 \u00f2ssia, i el desenvolupament de nous materials angiog\u00e8nics capa\u00e7os de desencadenar formaci\u00f3 de nous vasos i induir la vascularitzaci\u00f3. <\/p>\n
Entre els guanyadors d’anteriors edicions del premi, creat al 1982, s’inclou al Professor Em\u00e8rit de Materials M\u00e8dics de la Universitat de Cambridge, William Bonfield.<\/p>\n
A l’abril d’aquest any, Josep Planell, que mant\u00e9 una posici\u00f3 de recerca a l’IBEC, va deixar la Direcci\u00f3 de l’Institut despr\u00e9s de set anys per passar a ocupar el c\u00e0rrec de rector de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
