(Spanish)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Animal welfare VS human welfare: To what extent do we want to protect them?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe use of experimental animals is widely accepted within the scientific community and although there are differences in regulations between countries, they all follow the guidelines set by the 3Rs: Replace, Reduce and Refine. This event will be held in <strong>Spanish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>El uso de animales de experimentaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 ampliamente aceptado dentro de la comunidad cient\u00edfica y a pesar de que hay diferencias en regulaciones entre pa\u00edses todos siguen las directrices que marcan las 3.os: Reemplazar, Reducir y Refinar. Por lo tanto, la primera pregunta que nos tenemos que hacer cuando estamos dise\u00f1ando un experimento con animales es:<\/p>\n<p>Podemos usar otro sistema que no involucre el uso de animales de experimentaci\u00f3n para responder nuestra pregunta cient\u00edfica?<\/p>\n<p>Afortunadamente esta pregunta cada vez es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de responder gracias al desarrollo de sistemas\u00a0biomim\u00e8tics\u00a0que imitan ciertos \u00f3rganos como por ejemplo la piel, el intestino o el p\u00e1ncreas.<\/p>\n<p>Proponemos la siguiente estructura para la mesa redonda:<\/p>\n<p>Presentaci\u00f3n<br \/>\nExploraci\u00f3n de la situaci\u00f3n con los asistentes a trav\u00e9s de preguntas:<br \/>\n\u2022 Qu\u00e9 impacto ha tenido durante la historia el uso de animales de experimentaci\u00f3n?<br \/>\n\u2022 Qu\u00e9 nos motiva a reducir el uso de los animales de experimentaci\u00f3n?<br \/>\n\u2022 Hasta qu\u00e9 punto estamos dispuestos a reducir su uso?<br \/>\n\u2022 Qu\u00e9 alternativas tenemos?<br \/>\nLluvia de ideas: Buscamos soluciones<br \/>\nAntes que nada se explicar\u00e1n las premisas por el buen funcionamiento de la lluvia de ideas.
