Con este prop\u00f3sito, Josep Samitier, director del IBEC, y Edith Heard, directora de EMBL, han firmado un acuerdo de 5 a\u00f1os en la sede de EMBL Barcelona. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n es el comienzo de un marco de trabajo para actividades entre EMBL e IBEC que apoyan la colaboraci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica a largo plazo cient\u00edfica y general en \u00e1reas de inter\u00e9s mutuo. Algunos de los proyectos de uni\u00f3n propuestos son un programa postdoc EMBL-IBEC y una serie de seminarios EMBL-IBEC. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 previsto reforzar el intercambio de visitantes mediante el cual el personal cient\u00edfico afiliado a EMBL o IBEC tendr\u00e1 la posibilidad de visitar las instalaciones de la otra instituci\u00f3n para estudiar desarrollos y t\u00e9cnicas de investigaci\u00f3n y fomentar colaboraciones interdisciplinarias."}
