Estas prote\u00ednas son esenciales para la organizaci\u00f3n y diferenciaci\u00f3n del tejido epitelial intestinal. Gracias a esta t\u00e9cnica, los investigadores lograron controlar c\u00f3mo y d\u00f3nde se forman estructuras como las criptas y vellosidades intestinales. Adem\u00e1s, el sistema permite estudiar el papel de cada una de estas prote\u00ednas de manera individual y controlada.<a id=\"_msocom_1\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Lo que conseguimos con nuestro m\u00e9todo, basado en la de impresi\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas por contacto, es controlar c\u00f3mo y d\u00f3nde se forman estas estructuras intestinales. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jordi Comelles<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLas c\u00e9lulas con las que trabajamos se autoorganizan en compartimentos diferenciados que replican con precisi\u00f3n las estructuras intestinales. Lo que conseguimos con nuestro m\u00e9todo, basado en la de impresi\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas por contacto, es controlar c\u00f3mo y d\u00f3nde se forman estas estructuras. Lo hacemos disponiendo estas prote\u00ednas en patrones espec\u00edficos, como c\u00edrculos o agujeros\u201d, explica Jordi Comelles, investigador s\u00e9nior del IBEC, profesor asociado en la Universidad de Barcelona (UB) y coautor del estudio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta innovadora metodolog\u00eda permite, adem\u00e1s, analizar individualmente los factores implicados en la organizaci\u00f3n y funcionamiento del intestino, desvelando su papel en procesos clave como la proliferaci\u00f3n y diferenciaci\u00f3n celular. \u201cHemos observado, por ejemplo, que el Wnt3a ex\u00f3geno puede reducir la producci\u00f3n del mismo factor a nivel end\u00f3geno, lo que abre nuevas posibilidades para manipular estas v\u00edas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n\u201d, a\u00f1ade Comelles.<a id=\"_msocom_1\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Este modelo nos permitir\u00e1 estudiar en detalle procesos clave como la regeneraci\u00f3n celular o las alteraciones vinculadas a enfermedades como el c\u00e1ncer y los trastornos inflamatorios cr\u00f3nicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elena Mart\u00ednez<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Este enfoque permite controlar c\u00f3mo las c\u00e9lulas intestinales se agrupan, dependiendo del tama\u00f1o y la disposici\u00f3n de los patrones de Wnt3a. \u201cNuestro objetivo era crear un sistema que refleje de forma m\u00e1s fiel las condiciones del tejido intestinal humano. Este modelo nos permitir\u00e1 estudiar en detalle procesos clave como la regeneraci\u00f3n celular o las alteraciones vinculadas a enfermedades como el c\u00e1ncer y los trastornos inflamatorios cr\u00f3nicos\u201d, se\u00f1ala Elena Mart\u00ednez Fraiz, investigadora principal del IBEC, profesora agregada de la UB y l\u00edder del estudio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otro lado, el equipo utiliz\u00f3 modelos computacionales para simular las interacciones entre las v\u00edas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n, obteniendo una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s detallada de los procesos implicados en la organizaci\u00f3n celular. Este avance no solo mejora nuestra comprensi\u00f3n de la biolog\u00eda intestinal, sino que tambi\u00e9n ofrece nuevas oportunidades para probar medicamentos, estudiar enfermedades en un entorno controlado y desarrollar tratamientos m\u00e1s efectivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este trabajo forma parte de la tesis doctoral desarrollada por Enara Larra\u00f1aga en el grupo de Mart\u00ednez en el IBEC.
