Reporting to the Group Leader you will be working closely with other Lab technicians on all forms of management and will carry out multidisciplinary administrative support activities in both the lab and the research group management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Lab technician, you will play a key role in the overall laboratory support of all the management tasks necessary for the correct functioning of the Smart Nano-Bio-Devices Group. You will have to ensure the smooth running of administrative tasks contributing to the improvement of procedures and day to day operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The extent of your duties will include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Administrative support, lab assistant and management to the Group Leader<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Lab organization, ordering of reagents and equipment in coordination with other technicians and the Group Leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Manage and coordinate the Group Leader\u2019s agenda (travels, meetings, conferences).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Purchase orders and coordinate tasks with the technicians of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Day-to-day administrative support to research group members<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Coordinate the administrative management of the research group: registration and filing of internal documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Update website and social media from the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Group meetings management and travel form and administrative support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Give support to the group projects and presentations (Power Point, drafts of projects, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Interaction with support staff from IBEC (PM Office, Finances, HR, TT Office)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Financial management and control of deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Support with the recruitment of new personnel, onboarding information and exit documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Support the Group Leader\u2019s emailing with external collaborators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Support researchers throughout the projects\u2019 life (administrative support of documentation and follow up).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2013&nbsp;<\/em>Gather information on projects in order to ensure that deadlines are respected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Administrative management: registration and archive of internal documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Essential:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Previous administrative and support experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scientific background and motivation for science-oriented jobs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced user in Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full command in Spanish, Catalan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced level of English (the current language of communication in the group is English).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competencies: communication, teamwork, proactivity, attention to detail, planning and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Advantageous: Degree in chemistry, nanoscience, physics or biology.
