The research will be conducted in the framework of a Pathfinder EU project in collaboration with companies and other international research groups.  Main tasks and responsibilities \/ The successful candidate will develop research involving:  \u2022\tParticipate in a team of researchers focused on developing biomaterials and their integration with organs-on-a-chip technology. \u2022\tDevelop and characterize cellulose-based biomaterials for cartilage tissue engineering. \u2022\tIntegration of 3D engineered tissues with paper-based microfluidic devices to perform in-line monitoring of different relevant biomarkers.
