This fellowship is part of the Generaci\u00f3n de&nbsp;Conocimiento&nbsp;project, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected candidate will pursue a PhD focused on the MAGNETO project:\u202f<em>Magnetic Hyperthermia Studies Using Bioengineered Models of Pediatric Cancer<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Design, develop, and&nbsp;optimize&nbsp;experimental models and protocols to study therapeutic responses in pediatric oncology.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the research group and external partners to advance the project\u2019s&nbsp;objectives.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participate in regular lab meetings, progress reports, and contribute to grant writing and project dissemination efforts.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stay&nbsp;up-to-date&nbsp;with relevant scientific literature and emerging technologies in the field of bioengineering and cancer research.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements for candidates:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Degree\/master\u2019s in Biomedical Engineering&nbsp;or Translational Research fields.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidates should be ready to enter an official doctoral&nbsp;programme&nbsp;in December 2024 (under Spanish Law). By this time, they must have obtained a university degree and a master\u2019s degree; or must hold an official university qualification from a country of the European Higher Education Area with a minimum of 300 ECTS of official university studies, of which at least 60 are at master\u2019s level.
