{"id":133113,"date":"2026-04-01T12:36:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T10:36:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/?p=133113"},"modified":"2026-04-01T12:37:17","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T10:37:17","slug":"purchasing-officer-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/es\/purchasing-officer-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Purchasing Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introduction to the vacant position:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purchasing Department is integrated into the Finance Unit of IBEC<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of purchasing area is to handle all items (good and services) that are needed in the IBEC in accordance with the Public Sector Contract Law (LCSP 9\/2017)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for processing and managing purchase orders, contact providers to obtain status updates on orders and expedite deliveries, selecting the best option based on quality service and price, as well as guaranteeing the level of service provided by the products assigned and helping to draw up the budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its functions and responsibilities will consist of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage and process IBEC\u2019s orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage tracking and monitoring of purchase orders to ensure delivery times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery terms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and other relevant data in the ERP system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Higher Vocational Training in the Professional Family of Administration and Management \u2013 Advanced Level in Administration and Finance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in SAP Business One<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High level of English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competence and skills: Communication, planning, organization, teamwork, analytical capacity, pro activity, flexibility and adaptation to changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional experience that will be also valuable:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Between 2\/3 years purchasing experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Number of available positions: 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Starting date: May 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working conditions:<ul><li>Full-time employment.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Salary will be commensurate with previous experience.<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Measures to reconcile work and family life (flexible schedule working hours, teleworking, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, among others).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IBEC ensures equality of access to professional development opportunities irrespective of employment status, length at IBEC or other factors. IBEC is one of the top research institutions named as a Severo Ochoa Research Centre by Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (in charge of research and innovation policy in Spain), which recognizes excellence at the highest international level in terms of research, training, human resources, outreach and technology transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IBEC&#8217;s mission is to develop international high quality interdisciplinary research that, while creating knowledge, contributes to making a better quality of life, improving health and creating wealth.
