El diodo de una sola mol\u00e9cula resultante es m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o y mucho m\u00e1s eficiente que nunca. \u00abEste enfoque nos permitir\u00e1 reunir miles de miles de millones de diodos en un diminuto chip de silicio\u00bb, explica Ismael.<\/p>\n<p>El diodo molecular que se ha presentado permite que la corriente fluya 4.000 veces m\u00e1s en un sentido que en el sentido contrario, un rendimiento que es comparable a los diodos t\u00edpicamente usados \u200b\u200bhoy en d\u00eda pero a una escala mucho menor. El equipo ahora est\u00e1 trabajando para lograr una proporci\u00f3n de rectificaci\u00f3n a\u00fan mayor y un aumento de la vida \u00fatil de estos circuitos de una sola mol\u00e9cula para acercarnos un paso m\u00e1s a la obtenci\u00f3n de dispositivos <em>single-molecule<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Aragones, A.
