Unique in bringing together international researchers, young scientists, executives, entrepreneurs and policy makers from all disciplines of Biotechnology, Symbiosis offers a great platform to present and discuss the recent developments to the bio community at large.<\/p>\n

IBEC currently heads the Nanobiotechnology Section at the EFB in representation of the Nanobiotechnology Alliance. The Institute has contributed to Symbiosis programme with the organisation of the Nanomedicine session, chaired by Dra Mar\u00eda Garc\u00eda-Parajo, Nanobiophotonics Group Leader of IBEC. One of the speakers of this session will be Dr Xavier Fern\u00e1ndez-Busquets, researcher at Nanobioengineering Group of the Institute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

IBEC will participate at\u00a0Symbiosis<\/a>, the 14th European Congress on Biotechnology, one of the largest and most relevant events of Biotechnology in Europe.\u00a0 This congress is organised every 2 years by the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) in Barcelona. The IBEC Director, Prof Josep A. Planell, will be addressing the conference audience on Tuesday 15th September to explain the Institute\u00b4s mission and scientific programme.<\/p>\n
