Main tasks and responsibilities \/ The successful candidate will develop research involving:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 To develop reliable miniaturised electrochemical sensor for minimum invasive in vivo monitoring (pH, Oxygen, bioimpedance, among others)
\n\u2022 To work with a dynamic interdisciplinary team of researchers in order to develop a trustworthy commercial diagnostic implantable device
\n\u2022 To do in vitro and in vivo experimentation.
\n\u2022 To write technical reports
\n\u2022 To have the initiative of proposing new ideas and solutions<\/p>\n

Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Required degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Physics or similar
\n\u2022 PhD in Biotechnology or similar
\n\u2022 Hands-on experience in lab working on sensor development
\n\u2022 Have no inconvenient for working with in vivo experiments
\n\u2022 Good level of English. Spanish and Catalan will be an asset
\n\u2022 Experience in sensors, electrochemistry and desired in bioimpedance, microfluidics and statistics
\n\u2022 High motivation and ability to be involved in an international multidisciplinary team
\n\u2022 Excellent team working, initiative and problem \u2013 solving capabilities<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Working conditions:
\no Full time temporary contract. Salary will be commensurate with academic level and experience.

The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, IBEC is an interdisciplinary research center focused on Bioengineering and Nanomedicine based in Barcelona.
