Main tasks and responsibilities \/ The successful candidate will develop research involving:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Working with pancreatic islets isolation and characterization
\n\u2022 Working with miRNA analysis<\/p>\n

Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Essential:<\/p>\n

\u2022 PhD in Biology or Biochemistry
\n\u2022 Previous experience in cell culture, pancreatic islets, microscopy, immunostaining and histology will be valued
\n\u2022 Previous experience in PCR technics and ELISA assays
\n\u2022 Previous experience in Bioengineering, immunochemistry and molecular biology
\nbiomaterials
\n\u2022 Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
\n\u2022 Specific competences for the role: autonomy, adaptability to change, time management, mentoring, knowledge innovation.

The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, IBEC is an interdisciplinary research center focused on Bioengineering and Nanomedicine based in Barcelona.
