{"id":71352,"date":"2020-02-12T16:56:38","date_gmt":"2020-02-12T15:56:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/?p=71352"},"modified":"2020-11-19T09:26:13","modified_gmt":"2020-11-19T08:26:13","slug":"icrea-senior-call-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/es\/icrea-senior-call-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"ICREA senior call 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Ph.D. degree obtained preferably before 2016.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant multinational exposure at pre-doctoral and\/or post-doctoral level.<\/li>\n<li>Expansive phase of academic career, with an outstanding research record and leadership.<strong> Applications from women are especially welcome<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ICREA positions are not compatible with permanent positions outside the Catalan research system (not even part-time).<\/li>\n<li>The call is open to all scholars worldwide who, on the 12th March 2018 (24 months prior to the deadline of this call), were not yet holding a permanent position in the Catalan research system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ICREA Offers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Permanent contract with ICREA to work at universities or research centres in Catalonia no later than September 2021.<\/li>\n<li>Salaries are in line with those at Catalan universities. ICREA research professors are subject to an evaluation of their research progress and general performance after the first three-year period and, subsequently, every five years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In order to apply, candidates need to have the support of the Catalan research institution where they will carry out their research activities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants to <strong>apply for an ICREA position at IBEC<\/strong> should send a letter of expression of interest and CV to <a href=\"mailto:gl.application@ibecbarcelona.eu\">gl.application@ibecbarcelona.eu<\/a> <strong>\u00a0<u>before 29\/02\/2020 (Reference: ICREA 2020). <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An ad-hoc selection committee will evaluate all candidacies and decide which ones IBEC will support.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then, the application must be submitted electronically via ICREA website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icrea.cat\/en\/calls\">https:\/\/www.icrea.cat\/en\/calls<\/a> before 2:00 pm (Central European Time) on <strong><u>Thursday, 12 March 2020<\/u><\/strong>.
