El<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">estudio proporciona nuevos conocimientos sobre aspectos clave del SARS-CoV-2 y sus interacciones a nivel celular, y tambi\u00e9n, sobre c\u00f3mo el virus puede infectar los vasos sangu\u00edneos y los ri\u00f1ones.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:true,&quot;134233118&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:312}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Adem\u00e1s del pulm\u00f3n, el receptor ACE2\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">tambi\u00e9n\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">se expresa en\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">otros<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0tejidos,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">entre los que se incluye<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0el coraz\u00f3n, los vasos sangu\u00edneos, el intestino y los ri\u00f1ones, lo que\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">explicar\u00eda<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0la disfunci\u00f3n\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">multiorg\u00e1nica<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0que se observa en los pacientes infectados por SARS-Co-V2. Una vez obtuvieron estos\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">minirri\u00f1ones<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0infectados, aplicaron diferentes terapias, concluyendo, como resultado<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0del estudio,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0que el\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">hrsACE2 (ACE2 humano recombinante soluble), un f\u00e1rmaco que ya ha superado las pruebas cl\u00ednicas de fase 1 (en voluntarios sanos) y de fase 2 (en pacientes con s\u00edndrome de dificultad respiratoria aguda)<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0inhibe<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0significativamente las infecciones por SARS-CoV-2 y\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">reduce<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">su<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0carga viral<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:true,&quot;134233118&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:312}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cEstos hallazgos<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> son prometedores como un tratamiento capaz de detener la infecci\u00f3n temprana del nuevo coronavirus que, a d\u00eda 30 de marzo, ha afectado a m\u00e1s de 750,000 personas y se ha cobrado la vida de 36,000 personas en todo el mundo<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201d,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">concluye N\u00faria Montserrat.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:true,&quot;134233118&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:312}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Hallazgos como este ponen de manifiesto que las t\u00e9cnicas de bioingenier\u00eda son imprescindibles para la medicina del futuro. Hasta ahora, han permitido la creaci\u00f3n de\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">organoides<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">y<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0\u00f3rganos en un chip, entre otros. Asimismo, la ingenier\u00eda molecular, que est\u00e1 muy ligada a la bioingenier\u00eda, lleva a\u00f1os demostrando su capacidad de\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">preve<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">r<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0la eficacia de tratamientos experimentales y reducir la experimentaci\u00f3n con animales.
