Luego, a fin de evaluar la eficacia del prototipo del ventilador, los expertos lo probaron en doce voluntarios sanos cuya respiraci\u00f3n fue expresamente obstaculizada para simular diferentes niveles de rigidez pulmonar y obstrucci\u00f3n respiratoria.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Los voluntarios llevaban mascarillas faciales ajustadas sobre la nariz para facilitar la respiraci\u00f3n y puntuaban la sensaci\u00f3n de comodidad o malestar que experimentaban, tanto con soporte respiratorio como sin \u00e9l. Gracias a ello los investigadores observaron que el ventilador se adaptaba al ritmo respiratorio espont\u00e1neo y proporcionaba una sensaci\u00f3n de alivio respiratorio similar a la de un respirador comercial.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">El equipo tambi\u00e9n llev\u00f3 a cabo\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">otras pruebas\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">en las que se utilizaron simuladores pulmonares para evaluar la respuesta del respirador en pacientes con diferentes niveles de obstrucci\u00f3n del flujo de aire y rigidez pulmonar.
