The initiative is promoted by the Government of Catalonia within the framework of the research and innovation strategy for smart specialization on Catalonia (RIS3CAT) and co.financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER). The partners will collaborate with research institutes and industry to achieve an integrative and multi-level understanding of the human brain. The synergies created within this cluster promote the creation and integration of innovative ideas to provide solutions to current challenges in the field of neuroscience. The solutions to these challenges are framed in 5 cutting-edge projects, each working to develop and transfer and innovative solution to our society.<\/p>\n<p>Nanoprobes and Nanoswitches Research Group led by ICREA Professor Pau Gorostiza at IBEC, focuses on developing nanoscale tools to study biological systems.
