{"id":91046,"date":"2022-02-04T14:58:54","date_gmt":"2022-02-04T13:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/testweb.ibecbarcelona.eu\/icrea-senior-call-2022\/"},"modified":"2022-10-28T11:54:37","modified_gmt":"2022-10-28T09:54:37","slug":"icrea-senior-call-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibecbarcelona.eu\/es\/icrea-senior-call-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"ICREA senior call 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a022\/02\/2022<br><strong>Ref:<\/strong>ICREA 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Instituci\u00f3 Catalana de Recerca i Estudis Avan\u00e7ats (ICREA) has opened 20 senior research positions for 2022 in the areas of Humanities, Social &amp; Behavioural Sciences and Life &amp; Medical Sciences.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IBEC encourage candidates to apply to this call and will support outstanding candidacies for the area of Life &amp; Medical Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ICREA researchers are required to make substantial contributions to their own areas of research and to have a strong impact in the Catalan research system by becoming fully involved, active members of the Catalan research community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A Ph.D. degree obtained preferably before 2018.<\/li><li>Relevant multinational exposure at pre-doctoral and\/or post-doctoral level.<\/li><li>Expansive phase of academic career, with an outstanding research record and leadership. Applications from women are especially welcome.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>ICREA positions are not compatible with permanent positions outside the Catalan research system (not even part-time).<\/li><li>The call is open to all scholars worldwide who, on the 8<sup>th<\/sup> March 2020 (24 months prior to the deadline of this call), were not yet holding a permanent position in the Catalan research system.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ICREA Offers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Permanent contract with ICREA to work at universities or research centers in Catalonia no later than September 2023.<\/li><li>Salaries are in line with those at Catalan universities. ICREA research professors are subject to an evaluation of their research progress and general performance after the first three-year period and, subsequently, every five years.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to apply, candidates need to have the support of the catalan research institution where they will carry out their research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested applicants to <strong>apply for an ICREA position at IBEC<\/strong> should send:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>a letter of expression of interest<\/li><li>CV<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>to <a href=\"mailto:gl.application@ibecbarcelona.eu\">gl.application@ibecbarcelona.eu<\/a> <strong>&nbsp;<u>before 2 pm on 22 February 2022 (Ref.: ICREA 2022).<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An ad-hoc selection committee will evaluate all candidacies and decide which ones IBEC will support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, the application must be submitted electronically via ICREA website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icrea.cat\/en\/calls\">https:\/\/www.icrea.cat\/en\/calls<\/a> before 2:00 pm (Central European Time) on <strong><u>Tuesday, 8 March 2022<\/u><\/strong>.
