These will include surgical Central Nervous System experimental procedures, such as brain injections, CSF collection, in utero brain injection.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Help with biological laboratory procedures based on the specifications provided by the researchers. This includes : cell culture\/maintenance and basic biological assays (<em>g.<\/em>, viability, immunostainings, ELISA).<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Maintenance of technical infrastructures related to the biology lab, including regular lab and instruments cleaning, reporting machine or equipment failure.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Support to researcher\u2019s development of experimental configurations.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Keep track over the respect of the safety laboratory procedures and reporting potential infringement of the safety rules.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Collaborate to the laboratory daily managing routine and keep control over the correct storing of chemical and reagents.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Requirements for candidates:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>Laboratory technician diploma or Degree or Master in Veterinary \/ Biology \/ Biotechnology or related fields.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Accredited A (Animal care), B (Euthanasia), C (Experimental procedure) Functions according to RD 53\/2013.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Previous experience in rat and mice handling, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal and intravenous injection.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Previous experience in Central Nervous System experimental procedures, especially surgical procedures (brain injections, CSF collection, in utero brain injection).<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Multidisciplinary qualifications, experience in cell culture (neurons, astrocytes, microglia) and basic biological assays (immunofluorescence, western blot, viability assay, RT-PCR).<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>High level of English<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>We Offer:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>Number of available positions: 1<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Starting date: 15\/07\/2022<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Working conditions:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>full time temporary contract until 30\/04\/2023<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Measures to reconcile work and family life (maternity and paternity leave, flexible schedule working hours, teleworking, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, among others).<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>IBEC ensures equality of access to professional development opportunities irrespective of employment status, length at IBEC or other factors.
