We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 6th European CellMech Meeting, which will take place from 13th – 15th May 2015\u00a0in Barcelona, hosted by the\u00a0Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC).<\/strong><\/p>\n The goal of the meeting is to bring together scientists working in cell mechanobiology with an emphasis on the integration of mechanical processes across scales, from subcellular components to tissues.<\/p>\n The European Cell Mechanics Meeting is held on a biennial basis and is one of the premier worldwide meetings in Cell Mechanobiology. As in previous editions, this conference will feature the most recent trends of this wide and multidisciplinary field, covering physics, mechanics, and cell biology. Topics will include innovative experimental approaches to probe cell mechanics and visualize dynamic cellular processes, together with the development of new theoretical and numerical concepts dedicated to cell and tissue engineering.<\/p>\n As well as keynote lectures given by renowned invited speakers, the conference will offer the opportunity for young scientists to present their work to a broad and\u00a0multidisciplinary\u00a0audience. It seeks to create the right conditions for the emergence of a new multidisciplinary network in this rapidly growing scientific field.<\/p>\n
