Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:
- Knock-down genes associated with the TGF-beta pahtway in primary fibroblasts
- Identify molecular alterations of the TGF-beta pathway at the epigenetic, transcriptional and expression levels
- Analyze the involvement of alterations in the TGF-beta pathway in the resistance of fibroblasts to antifibrotic drugs
Requirements for candidates:
- Experience in knocking-down genes by shRNA
- Experience in the TGF-beta pathway at the epigenetic, transcriptional and expression levels
- Experience in doing experiments with cigarette smoke condensate
- Experience in doing tumor xenografts by co-injecting cancer cells and fibroblasts into immunocompromised mice
- Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Commitment, Proactivity, Colegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
- High level of English

- Part time temporary contract, initially 6 months contract.
