Part-Time research assistant Biomaterials for regenerative therapies Research Group

Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:

 

  • Fabrication of calcium phosphate nanoparticles by sol-gel process
  • Characterization of the fabricated nanoparticles in term of structure and degradation
  • Integration of the nanoparticles within the scaffolding processes developed by the group
  • Monitoring the work performed interpreting results in written reports and oral presentations.

 

Requirements for candidates:

 

  • Required degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Materials Engineering degree
  • Experience working in the synthesis of biomaterial nanoparticles and sol-gel transitions.
  • Skills in polymer and nanoparticle characterization: DLS, Z-potential, NMR, FTIR, etc.
  • Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
  • High motivation and ability to be involved in an international multidisciplinary team
  • Good level of English.

  • Number of available positions: 1
  • Starting date: 1st March 2021 and finishing on 31st May 2021 (possibilities to be extended)
  • Working conditions:
    • Part-time 3 months contract. Salary will be commensurate with the academic level and experience.
