Executive and Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an Executive and Administrative Assistant who has extensive experience to provide executive support to the Director of the Institute. The Director of IBEC carries out multidisciplinary activities, both at the level of research and management of the Institute. It has an international agenda, relating to other Research Centers, Universities, Industry, Hospitals and Governing Bodies, both nationally and internationally. He leads different committees inside and outside IBEC. He has an intense travel schedule, participating as a speaker and as a member of several scientific assessment committees

Gran éxito de la escuela de verano “Mecanobiología del Cancer 2019” organizada por el proyecto Mechano·Control

Más de 60 personas asistieron a la escuela de verano «Mecanobiología del Cáncer 2019» organizada por el IBEC, puesto que el centro es el coordinador del proyecto Mechano·Control. La escuela de verano se celebró en Prullans, un pequeño pueblo ubicado en los Pirineos catalanes entre el 17 y el 21 de septiembre. El evento fue un gran éxito tanto en participación como a nivel científico. El objetivo de la escuela de verano era proporcionar capacitación en mecanobiología, y específicamente su aplicación al cáncer de mama, y promover las interacciones entre profesionales del campo.

La escuela incluyó conferencias y talleres prácticos sobre diferentes técnicas y disciplinas, desde la biomecánica hasta la biología del cáncer. El proyecto Mechano·Control, coordinado por Pere Roca-Cusachs, investigador principal del IBEC, es el mayor proyecto europeo coordinado la institución hasta la fecha.
