La Generalitat de Cataluña, a través de ACCIÓ – la Agencia para la competitividad de la empresa, dependiente del Departamento de Empresa y Conocimiento –, ha acreditado el Instituto de Bioingeniería de Catalunya (IBEC) con el sello TECNIO. Este año, ACCIO ha acreditado seis centros de I+D+ i con este sello.
El proyecto ISCHEMSURG, que persigue combatir la isquemia asociada a la cirugía regenerativa, ha recibido financiación de la Agencia de Gestión de Ayudas Universitarias y de Investigación (AGAUR) destinados a la obtención de prototipos y a la valorización i transferencia de resultados de investigación.ISCHEMSURG desarrollará un sensor electroquímico miniaturizado para el control no invasivo en tiempo real de la isquemia tisular en el postoperatorio. Esta tecnología aportará una solución efectiva y asequible a esta necesidad que aún no tiene solución.
La rehabilitación para recuperar el habla después de una lesión cerebral es eficaz, siempre y cuando se realice de manera intensiva y se pueda integrar en tareas relevantes para el comportamiento.

The Molecular Bionics group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for a Postdoctoral candidate to be involved to deliver the development of new biodegradable polymers. The study is embedded within a new laboratory of Chemistry focusing on setting-up synthetic protocols that are easy to translate into clinical development ensuring safety and biocompatibility of the polymers.
