Accountant Technician

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

Your functions and responsibilities as Accountant Technician will consist of giving support to the administrative and accounting management of the Finance Unit:

 

  • Introduction of accounting entries: supplier invoices and other expenses
  • Issuance of invoices to customers and monitoring of debtor balances
  • Processing of accounting data through Excel to generate economic reports
  • Support in the justification of projects
  • Digital registration of documentation received in the Unit

 

 

Requirements for candidates:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics or equivalent
  • Microsoft Excel Advanced Level
  • Experience in SAP Business One
  • High level of English
  • Competences and skills: Communication, planning, organization, teamwork, analytical capacity, proactivity, flexibility and adaptation to changes.

 

Additional experience that will be also valuable:

 

Previous experience in one or more of the following:

  • Financial Department
  • Audit Company

  • Starting date: February 1st
  • Working conditions:
    • Full time, fixed-term contract to substitute a maternity leave.
    • Salary will be commensurate with previous experience.

The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, IBEC is an interdisciplinary research center focused on Bioengineering and Nanomedicine based in Barcelona.
