Lab Technician at the Protein phase transitions in health and disease Research Group

Introduction to the vacant position:

The Phase Transitions in Health & Disease Group is looking for a Lab Manager to support the development of yeast deep mutagenesis projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:

  • Preparing reagents for Microbiology
  • Validation of specific phenotypes by Microscopy techniques (Co-localization, FRAP)
  • Training of students in basic molecular biology techniques
  • Ordering and Lab Maintenance

Requirements for candidates:

  • Degree in Life Sciences/ Engineering
  • Previous Expertise in Yeast Genetics and Advanced Microscopy
  • Previous Lab Management Experience
  • Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Commitment, Proactivity, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
  • High level of English

  • Number of available positions: 1
  • Starting date: September 1st., 2022
  • Working conditions:
  • Full time contract until 30/08/2025. Very competitive salary.
