El IBEC lanza el programa «Clinical Colloquia»

Como parte de la estrategia del IBEC para facilitar la transferencia de la investigación de excelencia hacia soluciones en salud para pacientes y hospitales, el Instituto fomenta las relaciones y alianzas con médicos y empresas. Con el fin de fomentar esta traslación clínica, el Instituto de Bioingeniería de Cataluña ha lanzado el programa «IBEC Clinical Colloquia».

Gracias a la naturaleza de la investigación desarrollada en el Instituto, el IBEC cuenta con una relación continua y comprometida con hospitales, médicos y pacientes. Como resultado de esta colaboración, se desarrollan proyectos de investigación conjuntos y en otros casos nos proporcionan información sobre sus necesidades no satisfechas en la práctica clínica. Con el lanzamiento de esta serie de coloquios, el IBEC quiere fortalecer estas colaboraciones y ofrecer la oportunidad de crear un espacio de discusión entre investigadores y médicos.

The IMEM Group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher with broad experience in (Bio)Materials, Nanotechnology and Polymers/Biopolymers to develop a project on the development of (bio)polymeric materials for biomedical applications. The contract will be within the framework of IMEM-BRT research lines, whose objective is the development of new materials for regenerative therapies.
Specifically, the project involves the study of hydrogels as versatile platforms for specific (bio)applications using new chemistries, cell-friendly polymers (biopolymers and degradable synthetic polymers) and advanced manufacturing technologies. The research will involve three different areas that derive from the function, features, and source of hydrogels and, consequently, will require a wide range of skills (as per below).
