Call for Postdoctoral Candidates to apply Marie Curie (Individual Fellowships)

General Requirements for all Candidates:
  • PhD Degree in Life sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering or Computer sciences (the date the PhD degree was obtained is understood to be that on which the thesis was defended and approved).
  • High motivation and ability to be involved in an international multidisciplinary team.
  • Any participation in research projects and/or co-authorship in publications will be considered as a valuable contribution.
  • Any mobility experience, participation in research projects and/or co-authorship in publications will be considered as a valuable contribution.
  • Transnational Mobility Requirement: researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline (14/09/2016).

 

Application and Selection criteria process:

After receiving all the applications, IBEC will create a selection committee to evaluate them and determine the successful candidates, solely on the basis of eligibility and scientific potential.
The selected candidates will then have to apply to the corresponding call, depending on their adequacy to each call’s requirements. Please keep in mind that these are competitive calls that require certain paperwork to be done by the candidate. IBEC will provide administrative support to the selected candidates, but the final resolution for each call will only depend on the responsible institution (Marie Curie).

Interested applicants should send their CV, cover letter and full academic record including the weighted average mark to: jobs@ibecbarcelona.eu indicating the Postdoctoral Positions Reference** before 05/06/2016.

The selected candidates will then have to apply to the Postdoctoral call. Please keep in mind that these are competitive calls that require certain paperwork to be done by the candidate.
