Tasks and responsibilities:
- Participate in biomaterials synthesis and cell encapsulation
- Participate in a bio sensing platform to specific and selective detection biomarkers
- Collaborate to the development of novel integrated bioreactors
Requirements for candidates:
- BSc and/or MSc in Biomedical engineering, Biology or Chemistry (Candidates should be ready to enter an official doctoral programme in January/February 2018 (under Spanish Law). By this time, they must have obtained a university degree and a master’s degree; or must hold an official university qualification from a country of the European Higher Education Area with a minimum of 300 ECTS of official university studies, of which at least 60 are at master’s level)
- Experience with detection of biomarkers will be an asset
- High level of English
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent team working and communication skills
