Introduction to the vacant position:
The Biosensors for Bioengineering Group is looking for a postdoc candidate to participate in a multidisciplinary team and support the research work on developing encapsulation protocols for beta and hepatic cells. The research will be conducted in the framework of an ERC project.
Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:
- Led a team of researchers focused on developing 3D bioprinter protocols.
- Develop encapsulation protocols for beta and hepatic cells.
- Test of the biomaterials in vivo.
Requirements for candidates:
Essential:
- Degree and master’s degree in any field of bioengineering or biology.
- Ph.D. focused on beta or hepatic cell studies.
- Competencies and skills: excellent communication and teamwork skills, proactivity, commitment, critical, integrity and analytical thinking
- High level of English
Advantageous:
- Experience with in vivo experiments.
- Experience with cell cultivation techniques will be considered a plus.
- Experience with 3D bioprinters will be considered a plus.
