Gran èxit del 13è simposi anual de l’IBEC

L’Institut de Bioenginyeria de Catalunya (IBEC) va organitzar del 27 al 28 d’octubre el seu 13è Simposi. L’esdeveniment, que aquest any va tenir lloc per primera vegada en línia, es va centrar en la Bioenginyeria per a la Medicina del Futur i de Precisió. Amb més de 400 assistents inscrits, 18 flash presentations i 106 pòsters, l’esdeveniment també va comptar amb les contribucions de ponents internacionals de primer nivell com Robert Langer del MIT, Ada Cavalcanti de la Universitat de Heidelberg o Raquel Yotti, directora de l’Institut de Salut Carlos III , entre altres.

Gran éxito del 13º simposio anual del IBEC

El Instituto de Bioingeniería de Cataluña (IBEC) organizó del 27 al 28 de octubre su 13º Simposio. El evento, que este año tuvo lugar por primera vez en línea, se centró en la Bioingeniería para la Medicina del Futuro y de Precisión. Con más de 400 asistentes inscritos, 18 flash presentations y 106 posters, el evento también contó con las contribuciones de ponentes internacionales de primer nivel como Robert Langer del MIT, Ada Cavalcanti de la Universidad de Heidelberg o Raquel Yotti, directora del Instituto de Salud Carlos III, entre otros.

13º simposio anual del IBEC en los medios

Varios medios se han hecho eco de la inauguración del 13º simposio anual del IBEC, dirigida por Josep Samitier, director del IBEC, en la que participaron: Robert Fabregat, director general de Investigación e Innovación en Salud del Departamento de Salud de la Generalitat de Cataluña; Alfredo González Gómez, secretario general de Salud Digital, Información e Innovación del Ministerio de Sanidad español y el profesor Francisco Torres, rector de la UPC.

PhD Position in the Synthetic Morphogenesis group (IBEC, TU/e)

The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) in collaboration with the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e, Eindhoven – Netherlands) are seeing an ambitious PhD Candidate to investigate the morphogenesis of living tissues from the computational perspective. The successful candidate will carry out computational research with the Synthetic Morphogenesis group under the supervision of Dr Vito Conte across both institutions at the interface between Biology, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Sciences. This multidisciplinary doctoral research will be carried out in collaboration with Dr Jose Muñoz at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC, Barcelona – Spain) and will be part of greater efforts aiming at establishing a new Platform for the Live-Quantification of Cell and Tissue Mechanics across the IBEC and the TU/e.
