IBEC sigue conectado – ¡Descubre nuestras actividades online!

El Instituto de Bioingeniería de Cataluña (IBEC) ha ido adaptando sus actividades a la emergencia sanitaria de la COVID. En este contexto, no solo los proyectos e instalaciones de investigación se han adecuado para enfrentarnos a la crisis sanitaria, sino que también hemos adaptado la gestión del centro, los eventos, las actividades de divulgación y la comunicación.

Desde que comenzó el confinamiento, el IBEC ha lanzado diferentes iniciativas online: desde seminarios científicos virtuales hasta experimentos en directo a través de YouTube para toda la familia.

Senior Researcher at the Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies Group

The Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for a Senior Researcher to work on the development of new platforms for skin regeneration. The contract will be within the framework of nAngioderm, an Euronanomed project, whose objective is to develop devices based on nanotechnology and drug delivery tools able to address the healing of acute and chronic wounds.

Núria Montserrat aparece en la sección dedicada a la covid-19 del «European Research Council»

Nuria Montserrat y su equipo crean minirriñones que están demostrando ser clave en la búsqueda de medicamentos contra el coronavirus. La investigadora está trabajando junto con otros investigadores internacionales y descubrieron que un medicamento que se encuentra en ensayo clínico podría bloquear las primeras etapas de COVID19.
