We provide information to the media on important research news, technological developments and announcements of major projects. The press office also coordinates journalist and media visits to the institute to conduct interviews with scientists or film in the labs.

In IBEC was accepted into FECYT’s Red de Unidades de Cultura Científica y de la Innovación (UCC+i), a network of centres which have been accredited for their contribution to scientific culture, because of its record of outreach and scientific diffusion activities and the actions it takes to spread its research results to the media.
