The day will start at 10:00-13:00 with an activity for high school students, and will continue at 19:00 in L’Hospitalet with a round table session open to the public, at which experts will discuss the present situation and future of the disease. The participants will be IBEC’s director Josep Samitier and junior group leader Eduard Torrents, ACFQ’s president, Celestino Raya, IDIBELL’s Josep Aran, and clincians from Catalonia’s three reference units in CF: Hospital de Sabadell-Parc Taulí (Montserrat Bosque), Hospital Vall d’Hebron (Javier de Gracia), and Hospital Sant Joan de Deu (Jordi Costa i Colomer).
This public session at 19:00 will be inaugurated by the mayor of L’Hospitalet Núria Marin, the Generalitat’s DG for Research and Innovation in Health Antoni Andreu, Director of IDIBELL Jaume Reventós, and Josep Samitier.
