Laboratory Technician at the Smart Nano-bio-devices Research Group

Main tasks and responsibilities
The successful candidate will develop research involving:

• Support in the design and fabrication of micro and nanorobots using chemical synthesis, electrochemical methods or clean room methods.
• Prepare stock solutions, make sure the lab equipment is up an running properly, manage timetables for equipment, give introductions to new members, contact local providers if needed.
• Support to scientists in the development of new fabrication and functionalization techniques.
• Keep protocols up to date.

Requirements for candidates:

• Minimum degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology or Nanotechnology.
• Knowledge of Python or other programming languages.
• Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Commitment, Proactivity, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
• High level of English

• Working conditions:
• Part time contract. Working time upon availability.
• Salary will be commensurate with academic level and experience.
