Purchasing Technician

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

As Purchasing Technician, you are responsible for managing the purchase and follow the procurements signed, selecting the best option on the basis of quality service and price, as well as guaranteeing the level of service provided by the products assigned and helping to draw up the budget.

 

Your functions and responsibilities will consist of:

 

  • Control of the entire purchasing
  • Negotiation with suppliers
  • Manage tracking and monitoring of purchase orders to ensure delivery times
  • Organization and monitoring of existing tenders
  • Analysis of data related to purchases, through data exported from ERP

 

 

Requirements for candidates:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics or equivalent
  • Two years of purchasing experience
  • Experience with SAP Business One
  • High level of English
  • Competences and skills: Communication, planning, organization, teamwork, analytical capacity, pro activity, flexibility and adaptation to changes

  • Starting date: December 2021.
  • Working conditions:
    • Full time, open ended contract (according to public replacement rate of State budget Law and approved by the Board of Trustees).
    • Salary will be commensurate with previous experience.

The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, IBEC is an interdisciplinary research center focused on Bioengineering and Nanomedicine based in Barcelona.
