Introduction to the vacant position:
The Molecular and Cellular Neurobiotechnology Research Group is looking for a Laboratory Technician.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Technical support to general research staff of our group and culture area.
- Technical support in the confocal microscopy facility of IBEC in analyzing neural grow and maturation in lab on a chip devices and organoids.
Requirements for candidates:
Essential:
- Vocational training in analysis and biomedical sciences, or equivalent. Experienced technicians would also be considered.
- Experience in cell (neural and non-neural) culture and immunocytochemical techniques, including conventional as well as confocal microscopy.
- ImageJTM and MatlabTM software user experience in image acquisition and analysis.
- High motivation and ability to be involved in an international multidisciplinary team.
- Competencies and skills: communication, teamwork, proactivity, commitment, collegiality, integrity, critical and analytical thinking.
- High level of English.

- Full time open-ended contract linked to the duration of the project for a period of 13 months.
