The appointment took place during the 17th congress of the society, held last 5-8 july 2010 in Edinburgh. The new council, composed of 10 members, will hold its term for a 2-year period.
The ESB was founded in 1976 and has more than 700 members from 40 different countries. Its primary goal is to encourage, foster, promote and develop research, progress and information concerning the science of Biomechanics.
