IBEC hosts CellMech2015 this week

The conference, which goes on until Friday, focuses in particular on the integration of mechanical processes across scales, from subcellular components to tissues. Topics will include innovative experimental approaches to probe cell mechanics and visualize dynamic cellular processes, together with the development of new theoretical and numerical concepts dedicated to cell and tissue engineering.

The conference features keynote lectures by experts from Europe, the USA, India and Australia, and will also offer the opportunity for young scientists to present their work to a broad and multidisciplinary audience, promoting the emergence of a new multidisciplinary network in this rapidly growing scientific field.
